FactMonkee is a static reference site: there is no sign-up, no user account, and no stored visitor identity. This policy describes what little data exists.
/facts/:id may be asked to pay a small toll over the x402 protocol; if so, we receive the paying wallet address and transaction metadata. Blockchain transactions are public by nature./facts/*, we log the path, timestamp, user agent, and (for signed requests) Web Bot Auth verification details, to distinguish free traffic from tolled traffic and to prevent abuse.The Service runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database, and delivery). Payment settlement, where it applies, is verified by the Coinbase Developer Platform facilitator.
Crawler request logs are retained for as long as needed for abuse prevention and billing accuracy for tolled requests, then deleted or aggregated.
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Given the accountless design, this is limited to the items in section 1. Email hello@factmonkee.com with enough detail (such as a wallet address and time window) for us to locate records.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We update this policy by posting a revised version at this URL with a new effective date.
